Sprouts Filter Taxonomy
Every filter available in Sprouts, organized in two levels — Account and Contact — with the options you can choose for each. Locations are shared across both levels.
Account filters
The filters available at the account (company) level, and the options for each.
Industry
Filter companies by industry. Options are organized into 25 industry groups, each with its own set of sub-industries. Pick a whole group or specific sub-industries within it.

Total Funding Amount
Total money raised across all rounds:
Latest Funding Amount
Amount raised in the most recent round:
Latest Funding Date
The date of the company's most recent funding round.
Latest Funding Stage
The company's most recent funding stage:
Founded Year
Filter companies by when they were founded. The available options are:
Job Opening
Filter companies by their active job postings. You can filter on any combination of the following:

Whether the company sells to businesses, consumers, or both.

Whether the organization is a government or non-government entity.
Global Presence
Filter companies by where their employees are located around the world. Two ways to use it:

Contact filters
The filters available at the contact (people) level. All account filters above can also be applied here — where they filter by the contact's company.
Department
Filter contacts by department. There are 22 top-level departments, each holding its own set of sub-departments. Sending a top-level department matches everyone beneath it, so you only need the one value; send a sub-department instead to narrow. Any value outside these lists is rejected with a 422.

Privacy / Data Protection and Facilities Management each sit under two top-level departments, so the table lists 227 entries for 225 distinct sub-departments.
Seniority
Filter contacts by seniority level, ranked from highest to lowest:
Founder, Owner and Partner are no longer seniority values — use Governance Level for those.
Governance Level
Filter contacts by their ownership or governance role in the company — separate from seniority, not an extra seniority value:
Filters are ANDed, so seniority: ["C-Suite"] together with
governance_level: ["Founder"] means a C-suite person who is also a founder. To match all
founders, send the governance filter on its own.
Employment Type
Filter contacts by how they are engaged by the company:
C-Suite Access
Whether the contact has direct access to the C-suite. Takes a boolean, not a list:
Location taxonomy
Locations are shared by both levels. For accounts they refer to the company's headquarters; for contacts, the person's location.
